Weedys Referral Program Terms of Use

Program Overview

The Weedys Referral Program allows eligible Weedy Rewards members to earn Weedy Coins by referring new customers to Weedys. By participating in this program, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Eligibility Requirements

Referrer Eligibility

• Must be an active Weedy Rewards member in good standing
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have a valid account with accurate contact information
• Must opt-in to the referral program terms and conditions

Referred Customer Eligibility

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be a new customer who has never made a purchase at any Weedys location
• Must use the referrer's unique link to sign up and complete their first purchase

Referrers are solely responsible for ensuring their referred friends meet the legal age requirement (21+). Weedys reserves the right to disqualify any referral and suspend accounts found to be referring ineligible or underage individuals.

How the Program Works

1. Generate Referral Link: Eligible members can generate a unique referral link through their account dashboard
2. Share Link: Referrers may share their link via text, social media, or other permitted methods
3. New Customer Registration: Referred customers must use the referral link to create an account
4. First Purchase: Referred customers must complete their first purchase to trigger rewards
5. Reward Distribution: Both parties receive their respective rewards upon successful completion

Rewards Structure

Referrer Rewards

• 20 Weedy Coins per successful referral
• Coins credited within 24 hours of referred customer's first completed purchase
• 1 Weedy Coin = $1 USD, usable like cash at checkout
• No limit on number of referrals per member

Referred Customer Rewards

• 50% off their first purchase on Weedys products, up to $100 in savings
• Discount applied automatically when using referral link
• One-time use discount per new customer

Program Rules and Restrictions

Prohibited Activities

• Self-referrals or referring family members living in the same household
• Creating multiple accounts to circumvent referral limits
• Using automated systems, bots, or scripts to generate referrals
• Spamming or unsolicited marketing via email, social media, or other channels
• Misrepresenting the program terms or benefits
• Any fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading practices

Link Usage Guidelines

• Referral links are unique to each member and non-transferable
• Links must not be modified, altered, or embedded in unauthorized websites
• Commercial use of referral links without written permission is prohibited
• Posting referral links on public coupon aggregation platforms or affiliate marketing networks (e.g., RetailMeNot, SlickDeals) is strictly prohibited
• Referral credit is awarded to the referrer whose link was used first
• Links may expire or be deactivated at Weedys' discretion

Reward Redemption and Limitations

Weedy Coins

• Coins have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts
• Coins do not expire but may be forfeited if account is closed or suspended
• Coins can only be redeemed at Weedys locations for products and services
• Partial coin redemption is allowed; remaining balance stays in account

Discount Limitations

• New customer discount applies to first purchase only
• Cannot be combined with other offers unless specifically stated
• Excludes taxes, delivery fees, and gratuities
• Subject to product availability and local regulations

Weedys is not responsible for product unavailability, system errors, or promotional conflicts that may prevent the redemption of Coins or referral discounts. Rewards are not guaranteed for all product types and are subject to inventory availability. Additional restrictions on Coin usage may apply from time to time.

Account Management and Tracking

Referral Tracking

• All referrals are tracked through unique links and recorded in member accounts
• Referral status and earned coins visible in account dashboard under "Referrals"
• Members can opt-in to email or text notifications for successful referrals
• Tracking data retained for program reporting and compliance purposes

Account Requirements

• Members must maintain accurate account information
• Email notifications may be sent regarding program updates or changes
• Account suspension or termination may result in forfeiture of unredeemed coins

Program Modifications and Termination

Program Changes

• Weedys reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the program at any time
• Material changes will be communicated via email or account notifications
• Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance of new terms

Individual Termination

• Weedys may suspend or terminate individual participation for violation of terms
• Suspected fraud or abuse will result in immediate program removal
• Appeals may be submitted through customer service channels

Privacy and Data Usage

Information Collection

• Referral activity and personal information collected for program administration
• Data shared between referrer and referred customer limited to necessary program functions
• All data handling complies with Weedys Privacy Policy

Communication Preferences

• Members can manage notification preferences in account settings
• Opt-out options available for program-related communications
• Marketing communications governed by separate privacy preferences

• Weedys reserves right to verify eligibility and compliance

Limitation of Liability

• Program benefits subject to product availability and business operations
• Technical issues or system outages may affect tracking or redemption
• Weedys not responsible for third-party actions or unauthorized link usage

Dispute Resolution

If you believe your referral reward was not properly credited, please contact info@weedys.com within 30 days of the referred customer's purchase. Weedys reserves the right to verify order eligibility and take up to 10 business days to investigate and resolve any claims. All decisions are final.

Indemnification

By participating in the Weedys Referral Program, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Weedys, its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your participation in the program, including any breach of these terms or applicable law.

Compliance and Legal Requirements

Cannabis Regulations

• All referrals and purchases must comply with local cannabis laws
• Age verification required for all participants
• Program benefits limited to legal cannabis products and services

Tax Implications

• Recipients responsible for any tax implications of rewards received
